The eruption of Mount Pelée

May 8th 1902 was an honorable day for Martinique because it was the eruption of the Mount Pelée of which there were two survivors, one whom we don't know the name and another one called August Louis Cyparis. St Pierre was the capital of Martinique but after this tragedy, it's Fort-de-France which became the capital. We have kept the tradition; example : bèlè... The movie about Mount Pelée was broadcast yesterday on the TV channel Martinique Première.
